What to set out

A chair that sits still. A kitchen chair is fine. A rolling desk chair is not.

A mirror, if you want to watch. I can cut without one, but you'll want it at the end.

Light. A window is best. A bright lamp works. Dim rooms make fades and color harder.

A floor that's easy to sweep. Hard floor if you can, not a thick rug. I clean up before I go, and hair hides in carpet.

Pets in another room if they'll want to help. I like dogs. Hair in the clippers is less fun.

For color, clear the afternoon. Bigger work runs three to five hours. I'll text when I'm on the way.
