Terms

These terms cover your use of pocketstudio.biz and any appointment you book with Pocket Studio, a one-person hair business run by Mykey Pocket (they/them) in Seattle, Washington. By booking an appointment or using this site, you agree to these terms.

Appointments take place at your location. Current menu:

Cut prices are fixed. Color is planned at the consult, and the final color price is confirmed before work starts, not after. Additional services discussed at an appointment are quoted before they're scheduled.

Every appointment includes a travel fee of $25 plus $2 per mile. Booking starts by asking for your zip on the booking flow, which shows the estimate before you pick a time. There is no set distance limit. If I can't reach a location for a given time slot, I'll tell you before confirming.

Appointments are booked through the booking flow at book.pocketstudio.biz. Cal.com holds the slot, and those bookings are also covered by these terms. Openings are limited and are first come, first served. Each booking gets a reference code; keep it so we can find and manage your booking. A booking reserves my time. It doesn't guarantee a specific result. I may reschedule for safety or availability reasons and will tell you as early as I can.

The usual $25 booking deposit is currently waived, and no deposit is needed to hold a slot. If deposits return, the site and your booking confirmation will say so clearly, and the deposit will be credited toward the travel fee, not added on top.

You can cancel or reschedule by text or call to 360-524-3587. Please give as much notice as you can.

Payment is due in full at the appointment, by card through a Stripe payment link, unless we agree on something else in advance. I never see or store your full card number. Taxes apply where required. A confirmed booking keeps the price quoted at booking unless we agree to change the scope at the appointment.

Because I come to you, I need:

• a safe, workable space with decent light, a chair, and room to move. If the space is unsafe or unworkable, I may decline the service;
• an accurate address and access details (gate codes, parking, floor);
• full disclosure of allergies, sensitivities, and prior chemical work (color, bleach, relaxers, keratin, henna, box dye) before I start. This is a safety requirement. Undisclosed history that changes the service may lead to rescheduling or repricing;
• you to be ready at the agreed time, with unfamiliar pets secured, and not impaired during the appointment.

Bookings for anyone under 18 must be made by a parent or guardian.

I work with professional care, but hair services, especially chemical services, carry inherent risks such as sensitivity or allergic reaction, breakage, and unexpected lift or tone. Results vary by hair type, condition, and history. A consultation doesn't guarantee a specific final look, and a strand or patch test may be recommended before color. To the fullest extent the law allows, my total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service involved. I'm not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for results caused by undisclosed allergies, sensitivities, or prior chemical work. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited under Washington law, including for gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

The site's text, photos, design, and branding belong to Pocket Studio and may not be reused commercially without written permission. I only post photos of your hair with your permission, and you can withdraw it any time by text or email.

Don't scrape the site, make fake or fraudulent bookings, or interfere with booking or other people's appointments. Fraudulent bookings or chargeback abuse may result in cancelled bookings and refusal of future service.

Pocket Studio is an independent business. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Rudy's Barbershop or any other salon or barbershop.

These terms are governed by Washington state law. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts in King County, Washington, unless we resolve them informally first, which I'd prefer. Text me before it gets that far.

I may update these terms as the business changes, including when a regular location opens. The current version and its date live on this page, and material changes will be flagged on the site before they take effect. Bookings made before a change stay under the terms in place when you booked, unless the law says otherwise.
